After Sri Gunanidhi Theertha, Sri Gunasaranidhi Theertha took charge of the Sri Mutt. He came back to Mulbagal from Mysore.

He had a good contact with the religious scholars. He interacted with them regarding the welfare of the people.

He used to invite them to the Mutt and honour them. His period is called as the Golden period of the Mutt. He looked after the Mutt for more than 9 years. He entered Brindavan in Mulbagal on Pushya shudha dashami of Eashwara samvatsara.
