After Sri Vidyanidhi Theertha, Sri Janananidhi Theertha took over the responsibilities of the Ashram. He went back to Mulbagal. He worshipped the Brindavan of Sri Sripadaraja and settled there. After some time, he travelled extensively in South India. While travelling, he once came to Srirangapatna near Mysore in Karnataka. He was very much pleased by the atmosphere of Srirangapatana. So, he settled there only.

After some time due to ill health he handed over the responsibilities to Sri Gunanidhi Theertha.
