Sri Lakshminatha Theertha looked after the ashram after Sri Lakshmipathi Theertha carrying forward the legacy of Sri Sripadaraja and worshipping Lord Hayavadana. He was very much fond of the teachings of Sri Bramhanya Theertha.

So, he wanted to be immortalized near Sri Bramhanya Theertha's Brindavan in Abbur. He selected Sri Lakishmikanth Theertha as his heir and entered in Brindavan in 1726 on Vaishakha shudha poornima.
