Sri Pragnanidhi Theertha took the charge of the Mutt in 1813. He taught the Dwaita philosophies to common people and enlightened them with his knowledge about the Vedas.

Later he handed over the responsibilities of the Mutt to Sri Hebbani Sheshacharya in 1818. Later he entered Brindavan on Chitra shudha dashami of Chitrabhanu samvatsara.
