Sri Raghunatha Theertha preached in Penukonda of some time. Once he visited Biligiri Ranga hills in Karnataka to see Lord Biligiri Ranga. He settled in Yeragamballi near Biligiri Ranga hills. He visited many scholars who were settled there.

He stayed in Yeragamaballi for more than 25 years and worshipped Lord Sri Ranga Vittala. On Ashada Shuddha Panchami he handed over the ashram to one of his favourite disciple Sri Lakshmimanohara Theertha. He was immortalized in Brindavan in Yeragamballi.
