Sri Vidyanidhi Theertha worshipped the deities of Sri Gopinatha and Sri Ranga Vittala. He also worshipped Srinidhi Theertha, Sri Lakshmipathi Theertha and Sri Lakshmimanohara Theertha After staying in Mulbagul for some time he travelled to Pudu Palla in Tamil Nadu.

He settled on the banks of River Cauvery there. He was very much interested in Science and religious discourse. He stayed there for more than 15 years. After some time he was immortalised in Brindavan on Vaishakha shudha padya on Nala samvatsara in Padupalla.
